I have been attending Christian World for 8 years. I was invited to a Fall festival and have been here since then. Every time I see a person get baptized I have a sense of wanting to do that and when I got older, I learned the true meaning of baptism. I feel it’s the right step of growing my relationship with God. I believe I can have a relationship with him as I grow in his word.

I have been attending CWC since summer of 2023. I found out about the church through Google search engine.  This year, I felt a strong pull on my heart to take this next step of baptism. I was baptized as a baby and experienced God’s presence when I was saved in middle school, but for much of my life, I lived in a grey area of comfort, excuses, and sinful desire. The joy and freedom I’ve found in building a true relationship with Christ has created an overwhelming hunger for more of Him. The new life I’m building begins with putting God first — and it starts here.  I’m believing God for peace, clarity, and courage as I walk in the new life, He’s called me to. I want to release old patterns of comfort and control and fully trust His plan — knowing He’s rewriting my story with purpose and freedom.

I’ve been attending Christian world since the beginning of 2025. I found out about this church with my girlfriend. We were both looking for a good church to attend. We found this one and it’s been an amazing experience ever since.  I always had it on my mind to get closer to God. I was always nervous to take that step closer. I always told myself I wasn’t good enough or anywhere near perfect, but I just had something click in me that told me I must do this, and nobody is perfect. On this journey to get closer to God, I know He will be with me every step of the way.

I’ve been attending Christian World for about a month now. I’ve been thinking about getting baptized for a while, and the more I dove deeper into my faith, I knew it was time. I’m ready to surrender my life to the Lord and glorify him every day. I’m believing God for healing and a renewed sense of purpose.

NEXT YES | BAPTISM

I just recently started attending CWC for the past month. I found this Church as I was driving down Abrams Road and felt moved to try it out.   Being a skeptic my entire life, I decided to read the gospels and was completely enamored with Jesus Christ, his love and the wisdom he shares with us. It felt as if my entire life has led to me finding Jesus at this moment as my worldview, my relationships, and my own well-being has completely changed in an amazing way.   I'm now trusting in God to give me purpose, healing, and growth. And this baptism is my next Yes to following him.

Stephanie Rodriguez  I’ve been attending Christian World Church for two years. I found out about Christian World church because my family comes here. I always looked for a reason to come to Church, but I never felt welcome anywhere because of the lifestyle that I lived.  So, the reason why I’m saying yes is because when I first started coming to Christian World church, I was beyond damaged from all the hurt I had inside as a kid. Feeling alone in the dark to figure out life as a 15 year old. I was born and raised in church. I was saved and baptized at the age of eight years old. I really didn’t know the real meaning of it back then, I just thought it was a cool thing, but who was I to know anything, I was a child. But if I knew what I know now I most definitely would’ve taken it serious by putting God first and obeying my parents by doing the right thing. I battled with alcohol and drug abuse and lived on the lived on the streets at a very young age. Honestly, it could’ve been life or death for me because I was playing with my own life. I knew I had a purpose. Now I’m here to say that I know what God can do for anyone who is lost, because he did it for me.   I battled with my own thoughts in my head, voices telling me to give up, let go, you’re better off dead and you’re not worth anything. But I know one thing for sure, getting on your knees and crying out to God literally is life changing. I use to sit and listen to Pastor George preach and just cry because I had so much stuff bottled up inside like unforgiveness, hate and worry that I didn’t know how to let it all go until one day Pastor George was closing with prayer and asked us to repeat after him about opening our heart to God and letting him in fully. That’s when I started to feel a change. That’s just the beginning and I’m here to tell you now that I’m here as living proof that the power of prayer is everything, you just got to believe! I just want to thank everybody that prayed for me because here I am on my way to new beginnings and serving God. He’s not finished with me yet.

I’ve been attending Christian World since the beginning of this year. I discovered CW online and got a glimpse of the environment on YouTube. I decided to give it a try and came in. I absolutely fell in love with the church and the love everybody here has for the Lord. From the welcome in, worship, energy, and of course the sermons! I started going back to church in September of 2024, although something felt off. I was going through it mentally and spiritually; being that I was previously a lost soul. I was looking for peace in the wrong places like crystal shops and witchcraft. Also growing up in a catholic family wasn’t as impactful to me because I was always left with so many questions. 2024 had been a rough year for me. I lost myself, but I didn’t want to lose the spirit of the Lord, so I did my research in hopes of finding a new home church. When I started coming to CW my entire mind and view shifted. I felt the holy spirit so many times and had felt called to get baptized but I was always nervous too because I didn’t know if I was worthy enough. However, this is my testimony and my way of showing God I am ready to receive all of Him. I am ready to live for Him and by His word. I want a seat at his table, and I want to set an example for my siblings and my baby. I want to be saved for them.   I believe God will show me things not as I wish but as I need to see things, to better myself as a Christian lady. I believe God will show me how to spread his word to people and hopefully inspire others to get saved.

I’ve been attending Christian World for 2 years now & I found out about this Church by my Aunt Angela, Uncle Pedro, the Cisneros Family along with my Mother Connie Martinez who has been coming for 5 years now. I was baptized as a teenager. Back then I had a lot of people depending on me to live in the devils’ ways. Christmas of 2023, the devil tried to take me out of my darn misery but I’m a fighter & I told GOD if he let me live then I was going to change & I stand on that, I was done with the partying life & now I’m a living proof of a real survivor, once again, born again in the HOLY GHOST and he washed me clean. All this time I’ve been watching all these kids, adults, parents get baptized and I told myself one day that it would be me. Today is my time. My sister Ashley, my cousins & I said what a blessing it is to get baptized and how strong my grandmothers prayers became that they touched our souls…. HALLELUJAH… to the King of All Kings.  I want God to show me the way, the truth and the life for He has for me. I want to become a stronger “GOD FEARING MAN.” I want the purpose He has for me. Praise GOD!

I have been attending this church for about a month now, and my good friend Dallas invited me. I’d been wanting to be baptized for a while, but I was motivated recently when I decided to stop living an earthly life and follow Jesus. It’s one thing to say you’re a Christian; it’s another to walk with him. Jesus is alive in my heart and there’s no better feeling. I know Jesus died on the cross for my sins and I’m now forgiven for my sins even though I shouldn’t be. My sins are my past, and my future is to be a disciple and bring others to God.

I have attended this Church a few times with my friend Shantee. I was baptized in 2014, however I don’t feel like it was done for the correct reason. Recently I have been receiving a strong call to recommit my life to God. After baptism, I believe God will use me to encourage others.

I accepted Jesus as my savior at 9 and was baptized at 13. Until my baptism I only knew my Grandparents Church. They were my rock-solid living example of how to be a child of Christ and still are the model I try to live up to. I’ve always believed in God and that God can do anything and everything! Fast forward to 2022, I attended CWC as a guest of Candace Bell. I decided it was time for me to make a commitment to God and myself, to really become part of a Church family. I chose Christian World because of the warmth and welcoming way I was treated, the delightful diversity of the congregation and my desire to really get plugged in and serve, grow and fellowship with the MOST amazing people at the MOST amazing Church. Now that I’ve been blessed with an awesome husband, sons, 2 beautiful daughter-in-loves, grandchildren and grand puppies, I want to publicly recommit my life to Jesus Christ, my savior, and grow in and with my family here at CWC.

I have been attending Christian world for two and a half years. I found Christian world shortly after moving to Texas. I researched several church’s and watched services online. After watching one service I knew this was the place I wanted to be.   This has been something I’ve been wanting to do for some time, but I didn’t know if it was the right time. Last year was one of the toughest years of my life. I lost my father 7 months after he was diagnosed with cancer, experienced the loss of another person close to my heart, and went through career changes. The past 9 months I’ve been growing closer to God and building my relationship with my lord and savior. My life has changed in many ways, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the blessings he’s done in my life. I’ve prayed many times asking for a sign and two weeks ago I had a dream where my dad was talking to me about how he’s doing great and he’s with Jesus. That morning, I woke up and knew that was my sign. I’m looking forward to declaring myself to Christ and washing my past away. I’m ready to be the man god intended me to be and work every day to walk and do as Jesus did. God is good!

I have been coming to Christian World on and off for about 6 years. I found the church through my Tia. She invited me and my mom.  The moment I wanted to get baptized was in September. My journey with God has been rough. I was seeking love in other places, but God always isolated me from everyone. I would feel alone until I cried out to him that I wanted to change. I want to a be better me. Since that day I cried out to him, he’s been guiding me towards Him. I don’t just pray to God on the bad days. I pray to God when I am happy too and he is close to me.   The thing I am believing God for after today is that he will keep reaching towards my family so they can see what he is truly about. To know that they can do anything possible with God and to not let the past have control of them.

I’ve been attending Christian World for 10 months. I found out about this Church from my friend Erik inviting me to youth. I had such a great time and decided to keep coming. Once I fell in love, I knew this church was my new home.  I’ve been wanting to get baptized for a while, but I never said my next yes. Now through all the struggles I’ve been through I know God was always on my side to help lead me through. From the time I have been coming to Christian world, I’ve been my happiest through my faith and walk with God.   After baptism, I hope to give messages to people who need the gospel. I want to help others find their way to Christ so they can give their heart to the Lord. I want to become pure again for the love of Christ and to keep my feet on the path to Jesus who died for me and everyone in this world.

I found out about this church because my aunt invited my mom.  I have always known about God, but I felt like something was missing in my life, I didn’t really feel whole. Then one night I went to a worship night with my mom and grandma, and while we were there, I really felt God’s presence. In that moment, I knew I wanted to say yes to Jesus and give my life to Him. I had been feeling the “want” of getting baptized for some time now since I came back to Jesus but was unsure if it was the “right” thing to do since I had previously been baptized when I was younger. After baptism, I believe I will “die to myself” and be reborn again. Cleansed of all my past.

I’ve been attending CW for about 2 years. I was told about the church through my sister-in-law who’s been a member for years.   I decided to get baptized because God has been speaking to me and dealing with me a lot lately. And I will not harden my heart to His voice. My birthday was last week, and I refuse to go into a new year not being COMPLETELY sold out to Christ.   I’m believing God will fill me to the brim with His Holy spirit. He will place a fire on the inside of me, my husband, and our children. We will all be saved together, as a family!

I’ve been attending Christian world with my kids for a few months now. If I’m being honest, I never expected to consider Christian world home. I’ve dealt with spiritual and religious abuse growing up and because of that I held a lot of anger and resentment towards God, family, & friends. I got baptized as a child because I thought it was what I needed to do. As an adult and through the lives of my children I have seen Gods miracle work through our lives. I’ve seen God intervene in situations where the only explanation I can give is …. “That was God.”  Because of the constant tug at my heart for months now. I’ve decided to get re baptized. I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was 8 years old without truly understanding what I now know. Jesus truly is my lord and savior.   Christian world has led such a great example with the many God-fearing servants & the constant reminder with every smile, hello, and remembrance of my children Sunday after Sunday. I’m believing God will continue to work through my life so that I may also raise strong and Godlike soldiers to spread his kindness and worship. My reaffirmation of my dedication to Jesus isn’t just a statement to those in this crowd but also a reminder to myself that I’m not accepting the hand I was dealt, I'm a generational Curse breaker and my chains have been set free.

I have been attending Christian World basically all my life. I was raised in church, and I am so thankful to my parents for bringing me here to make my relationship stronger with Jesus every day.   I decided to get baptized because the last time they did the baptism I had started crying and it was overwhelming, and I just felt God telling me that this was my time to get baptized.   I want God to give me the strength and courage to share the good news that he has for people. I personally want to tell half of my school about Jesus and that is my goal for this year, and I know he will have a way to make that possible.

I've been attending Christian world since 2024, and I found out about it from an EMT when I was in an ambulance after a rough night at the ER.   I got baptized last year, and I only really did it because I felt I had to prove I believe, and it would make me a better person when in reality, I just needed God to do that. Lately I’ve been doubting a lot, and I just need to reclaim my faith. After baptism, I am believing God for everything and anything.

I found out about this church through family members.   I decided a month ago to say yes to baptism because for the past two years of my life I have felt lost, dealing with depression and just life problems in general. I want to get closer with God and do better for myself and for my family.  I am believing God will help me leave all my problems and all the hurt I have been carrying for so long behind. I am believing God will help me become a new person by finding peace within myself and God will guide me in the right path.

My grandma Barbra Gonzales brought us to this church as kids. We would do the discovery camp fundraiser by washing cars and raising money. No other place felt like home than this church right here. I’m ready to get back in and give it to God and serve. I let go of fear and anxiety of what others might think of me. I only care about where the lord needs and wants from me. And that’s in the house of the lord. Insecure, torn, and ready to let God renew me and fill me with his presence. After baptism, I want God to come into my life and renew me and change my heart mind and soul.

My Partner and I have been looking for a church for a while. We went to 2 other churches before we discovered CWC and decided “This is the one”. Our first day joining was on Mother’s Day. :) I’ve been thinking of baptism for a while now. I don’t necessarily know where to start, I just feel it in my heart after my sister passed away from cancer. She always had faith, and she would invite me to church. I would often say “no” and offer to get her ready to go. In some ways I’m living for her now and I want to do this for her and for myself. I want to Honor God and do my best. I am believing God for healing, peace and comfort over my life. God is the same God. He is already doing that, I want to show my commitment, and I want to be closer to God.

Today is my first time attending Christian World. My parents have friends who attend the church. As I got older, I felt this connection with certain scriptures like Philippians 4:13 especially when I started playing football. Somedays I felt defeated and one day my mom gave me a football necklace with this scripture on it, and I automatically felt stronger. Thats when I knew I wanted to be baptized. It felt right. I’m believing God for everything in my life. That he will show me the right path in life and walk with me as I grow and help me become a better person in everything I do in life.

I’ve attended Christian World for a month now and I found out about it through my family that also attends the church. I decided to get baptized because I felt a deep calling in my heart, a sense of renewal and peace. I was ready to publicly declare my faith and take a step forward in my spiritual journey. It wasn’t just about tradition but about embracing a new chapter and acknowledging something bigger than myself. It felt like the right time, and I knew it was a step I needed to take. After baptism, I’m believing God for deeper spiritual growth and a stronger connection with Him. I want to grow in wisdom, peace, and grace, and trust Him more fully with every area of my life. I’m also believing for healing—whether it’s physical, emotional, or spiritual and for clarity in the direction He wants me to go. Ultimately, I want to live out my faith more authentically and be a light to those around me, reflecting God’s love and purpose in everything I do.

I've been attending Christian World for about two months now. I was baptized as a baby, but I have no memory of it. Today, I want to be baptized again—not only to create a lasting memory of such a beautiful moment, but also to dedicate my life to the Lord, who has been faithfully guiding and protecting me, even when I wasn’t aware of His presence. Growing up, sin often felt praised and normalized, and for a long time, I didn’t even realize how lost I was. But God revealed the truth to me and shifted my heart—showing me a better way, a clearer path. I have no shame in closing those old doors and fully giving my life to Jesus Christ.

I have been attending Christian World for about 7 months and was introduced to it by my wife Meleanie. I was first baptized when I was 11. At the time I was young and didn’t understand the full meaning of declaring my faith to God. Throughout my early adult life after losing my brother, I ended up running away from God and turning to drugs and gambling. I was lost and enslaved by addiction for 12 years. The last day of my addiction I prayed to God that if he gave me strength I will be devoted to him. God saved me and he has guided me and helped me make friends along the way through my brothers here at Christian World.  This is my testimony and declaration to God and to my family and to anyone here at Christian World who struggles as well. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I’m blessed to have Christian World as my new family and home.

I have been attending Christian World for about 7 months. I found God in one of my most darkest times of my life. I believe God broke me down so I can have no other choice but to give in to him. I was always so moved to hear others testimonies here at Christian World for what God has done for them, I carried a lot of shame believing I was unworthy to be baptized because I was not the “perfect “Christian. Christian World and other friends helped me to realize that God wants us as we are.

My life has been a very difficult journey over the years. I have been homeless, alone with no family, struggling with addictions, and experiencing the loss of very important people in my life. I didn’t realize that there was a light of hope at the end of the path….and yes, it was God, the One who had been waiting for me for so many years. After a year and six months ago, I had the opportunity to meet Him and it was the best decision of my life. Everything changed, and the deep emptiness I felt in my heart God didn’t just fill it, He went far beyond anything I could have imagined. I want to think God for everything He has done in my life. But I also want to than, with all my heart, the people who – through their advice, support, and love – left a mark on m life and in my heart: Pastor Nathan, Pedro, Edwin, Elizabeth, Corrina, Mike, Juan, Ryan… and so many more people I want to thank. I’d like to invite you all to come up here with me, so I can tell each of you that even though you’re not my blood family, you filled me with the warmth and love of a family I never had. Thank you, my friends, my new family, thank you to the Lord God, and to this wonderful place, CWC. Thank you!
